Privacy policy

MindSpan (mindspanlabs.app) is operated by Startupolis, 19076, Sobha Dream Acres, Panathur, Bengaluru 560087, India. In this policy, “we” means that operator. For any privacy question, write to contact@sourabhpradhan.com.

• To run the tests you ask for. We need your answers to score them and show your results. This is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• To manage your account and Neurons. We keep the ledger so your balance is correct and so we can answer billing questions.
• To take payments. Stripe processes each purchase for us.
• To email you about your account. We send a welcome email, results notices and account messages. We do not send marketing email.
• To keep the service safe. We use technical data to stop abuse, such as automated test-taking.

If you live in the EU, the UK or a similar jurisdiction: we rely on our contract with you for the first four purposes, and on our legitimate interest in a safe service for the last one. You give consent before each test, and you can stop at any time.

These companies process data on our behalf, under contract, only to provide their service to us:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, our providers use standard contractual safeguards for these transfers.

We use only the cookies needed for sign-in. Clerk sets them to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

• While your account is open: we keep your data so you can see your history and results.
• When you delete your account: we delete your sign-in account at once and remove your email address from our database. Within 30 days, we then fully delete your answers, scores, attempts and Neuron history.
• Purchase records: we and Stripe keep the record of each payment for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Nothing else about you is kept with it.
• Waitlist addresses: we send one email when that family opens, then delete the address. To be removed sooner, write to us.
• Unused Neurons are lost when you delete your account.

• Get a copy. Go to Account → Export data to download your profile, attempts and scores. For a full copy that also includes each answer, write to us.
• Delete your account. Go to Account → Delete account.
• Correct your data. Change your email or name from the account menu (your picture, top right), or write to us.
• Object or ask questions. Write to us. We reply within 30 days.
• Complain. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

MindSpan is for people aged 16 and older. You must confirm your age before each test. If we learn that someone younger has an account, we delete it.

All traffic uses HTTPS. Only our server can read the answer keys and your stored answers. Access to the database is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we also tell you by email before it applies.
